As we find ourselves in the heart of summer, it’s the perfect time to share some exciting updates on how we’re transforming Buck Hill into a vibrant, year-round entertainment destination. Our goal is to create an engaging, fun-filled environment for everyone, not just during the ski season, but throughout the entire year. Here’s a peek at what we’ve been up to.

Weekly Wheels Car + Bike Meets
Our summer staple, the Weekly Wheels Car + Bike Meets, continues to grow in popularity. It’s a fantastic event that brings together car and bike enthusiasts from all over. Whether you’re a gearhead or just enjoy admiring sleek rides and powerful engines, this meet-up is a must-see.

New Weekly Events at Buck ’54 Bar & Grill
We’re thrilled to have introduced a variety of new weekly events at Buck ’54 Bar & Grill:
– Music Bingo: This event it is an absolute hoot! Imagine Bingo + Name that Tune + Cocktails. I highly recommend carving out a Tuesday night to come and experience a night of Music Bingo at the hill.
– Themed Trivia Mafia: Challenge your friends and family in themed trivia nights. We have some great themes coming up, including Game of Thrones on July 16th and Taylor Swift on August 20th.

Engaging Activities for Everyone
We’re also trying to do a better job of the utilization of our event center space by offering various events such as:
– Jigsaw Puzzle Contests: Perfect for puzzle enthusiasts who love a good challenge.
– Charcuterie Board Class: Learn the art of crafting the perfect charcuterie board with delicious, high-quality ingredients.
– Sip-n-Shop: Enjoy a relaxing shopping experience with a drink in hand, featuring local vendors and unique finds.

The Hutch An Athletic Training Facility?
Alltitude, a sports strength and conditioning program run by Matt Hoffman, one of our very own Buck Hill Ski Team coaches who has stepped in and transformed our Hutch space into a top-notch athletic training facility. Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve your performance or someone who wants to stay active and fit, Alltitude offers personalized training to meet your needs.
Dave Solner, our owner, has always envisioned a year-round training facility for our athletes at the resort, and Alltitude is a great first step in making that vision a reality. We love Matt and believe in his program and think it’s an integral part for the success of our athletes and unique offering that sets the hill apart from others.

Future Plans with a Family-Friendly Focus
As these event take shape we continue to have constant conversation with local retail shops around town to help create events and collaborations that our core audience will love. These partnerships allow us to better engage with retailers in the ski and snowboard community and offer diverse and engaging experiences that our loyal customer want to be a part of. Stay tuned for some fun in and out of season collabs.
Looking ahead, we have several exciting ideas in the pipeline, including:
– Movie Nights on the Hill
– Drive-In Movies in parking lot
– Fall Festivities:
– Fall Chairlift Rides
– Bucktoberfest
– Fall Rail Jams
– Beer Gardens
– Fall Sip n’ Shop
– Whiskey and Wine Tasting at the top of the hill
– Dueling Pianos
– Acoustic Nights in the Event Center

Maximizing Our Unbelievable Asset
The Hill is an incredible asset, and we’re committed to making the most of it all year long. While some of our initiatives might seem varied and maybe even a little random, know that we’re casting a wide net to discover what works best and what types of events are sustainable. We appreciate any and all the support as we explore new ways to bring entertainment to the community.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to seeing you at some of the events throughout the summer and in the fall.
Be sure to check out our social channels and our Buck Hill event page for the most up to date information on all the events we got going on.
