The past week saw the Buck Hill Ski Racing Team and Freestyle Team soar to impressive heights, demonstrating their prowess on the slopes across various competitions. From stellar performances at the Nagy Memorial Ski Race Cup to the USASA Upper Midwest Point Series Rail Jam contests, our athletes showcased their talent and determination, leaving a trail of victories in their wake. Moreover, Buck Hill’s alumni continued to shine on the international stage, further solidifying our reputation as a breeding ground for world-class talent. Buck Hill Ski Racing Team Results
Nagy Memorial Ski Race Cup at Mt. LaCrosse, WI:
– Stella had two strong top 5 finishes on Saturday and on Sunday a 2nd place finish at the Hagy Cup at Mt. LaCrosse, WI.
U14 Groups
– Giant Slalom – Four boys in the top five (Cole, Brexten, Roenen, Asa)
– Slalom – Three boys in the top five (Cole, Brexten, Asa)
– Slalom – Four girls in the top five (Claire, Saskia, Julia, Marlo)
U12 Groups – Claire Schlosser WON all four races for the U12s
U12 Groups – Many top fives and top tens
U10 Groups – Olivia Prettner, won her first Giant Slalom race

-Sisters Claire and Marlo Provencher tied for FIRST with times of 43.42!

Red Bull Heavy Metal Contest (Saturday, February 10th, 2024):
Mark your calendars for the Red Bull Heavy Metal Contest, set against the iconic backdrop of the Minnesota State Capitol Building on Saturday, February 10th. Buck Hill Ski Racing Team Intergalactic Donut Cup (Saturday, February 10th, 2024):
Join us for a day of fun-filled competition at the Buck Hill Ski Racing Team Intergalactic Donut Cup on Saturday, February 10th. With 200 donuts, 175 racers, and exhilarating paneled slalom races, this event guarantees excitement and entertainment for participants and spectators alike. Cheer on your favorite racers as they navigate challenging courses and vie for victory in this unique and spirited competition.

USASA Upper Midwest Point Series Boardercross Races (Saturday, February 10th, and Sunday, February 11th, 2024):

Despite the postponement of the Ski Challenge Races due to unseasonably warm temperatures and poor snow conditions, rest assured that the action at Buck Hill remains as electrifying as ever.
