MORE REPS. MORE CONFIDENCE. MORE SPEED.
BUCK HILL TRAINING GROUP
Progress in ski racing doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through practice, repetition, and time in the gates.
For high school athletes looking to continue developing their skills, the Buck Hill Training Group provides additional training opportunities designed to help racers improve technique, build confidence, and prepare for the demands of competitive ski racing.
The difference between a good run and a great run often comes down to small improvements: a stronger turn shape, better timing through the gates, increased confidence on challenging terrain, or the ability to stay focused under pressure. Those improvements come from more quality training.
Luckily, the Buck Hill Training Group registration is now open.
The Buck Hill Training Group gives athletes the opportunity to put in those extra reps while working with experienced, USSS-certified coaches in a focused and supportive environment.
Building Skills Through Additional Training
High school ski racers have busy schedules. Between school, team commitments, and other activities, finding additional time on snow can be challenging. The Training Group provides flexibility and additional training days to help athletes maximize their development throughout the season.
With a focus on high-volume training, athletes continue refining the skills that make them faster, stronger, and more consistent racers.
Training focuses on:
– Increasing gate training opportunities
– Improving technical skills and race technique
– Building confidence through repetition
– Developing consistency in slalom and giant slalom
– Preparing athletes for high-level competition
– Training in a positive and challenging environment
Every run provides another opportunity to improve. More time on snow means more chances to identify areas of growth, make adjustments, and build the confidence needed when it matters most.
Supporting the Next Level of Racing
The Buck Hill Training Group is designed for athletes who want to continue pushing their abilities while maintaining flexibility during the winter season.
For some athletes, it provides the extra preparation needed to succeed with their high school race programs. For others, it becomes part of a larger commitment toward higher levels of ski racing. Regardless of individual goals, the focus remains the same: helping athletes become better skiers.
Coaches work with athletes to develop stronger technical skills, and the mindset needed to succeed in racing. Learning how to handle challenges, stay focused, and trust the process are skills that benefit athletes both on and off the hill.
The strongest racers aren’t built by one great day of training. They’re built through consistent effort over time.
