The Buck Hill Ski Racing Team is a performance driven program backed by exceptional coaching, a culture of achievement and organizational collaboration to provide best in class training, coaching and support to develop top-level athletes competing at the regional, national, and international level.
The Buck Hill Ski Racing Team focuses on inspiring and empowering athletes through the creation of a positive and enthusiastic training environment while focusing on fundamentals and skill development to build the foundation for success. The Program is led by some of the most experienced, dedicated, and successful coaches in the country who have developed some of the best athletes in the nation.
U18-21/FIS Program
U18-21/FIS | Year of Birth 2003-2007
Program Pipeline | Regional USSS/ National & College FIS and Championship Events/ Series
Requirements | USSS and/or FIS license, Region 1 License, and Buck Hill Season Pass
Program Includes:
• Fall dryland program
• Up to 5 days of training per week (and selective weekends)
• Supplemental training on steeper terrain
• Coaching support at divisional USSS and FIS races
• Coaching support at selected team schedule out of division races
• 5 day Christmas camp
• Pace athletes (NCAA, US Ski Team level) regularly training with group
Facilities and Training Environment:
• Private training hill and high-speed lift
• Training with NO lift lines
• Full support from hill management to maintain best in class snow, training facilities and program support
• Extended training season beyond hill opening and closing dates

U12 USSS Program
The U10/12 Program is our introductory to USSS racing led by experienced USSS certified staff. The program teaches the fundamentals of balanced position, balance, movement, touch and feel on snow to advance athletes to the next level of competition. Staff focus on creating a fun, positive, productive training environment which advances athletes at a rapid rate.

Renegades Program
The Buck Hill Renegades Program is a transition introductory to USSS racing program for U10/12 and 14 athletes participating in the Buck Hill D Team looking for additional training opportunities to advance their racing skills. Led by Buck Hill USSS certified staff athletes will work on and build their fundamentals and skills focusing on stance, balance, and position on snow. Skills developed through this program prepare and build a platform for success at the next level of racing.
U10/12/14 | Year of Birth 2010-2015
Program Pipeline | Buck Hill D Team Athletes Moving into USSS Racing
Requirements | Buck Hill D Team Membership and Buck Hill Season Pass
Additional Details:
• Weekly training with USSS coaches
• High volume of training in gates and directed free skiing
• Rapid development of skills and fundamentals
• Introduction to training at the next level of Buck Hill’s world-renowned racing program
• Training with NO lift lines
• Private lift, training hill and facilities
• Must be a member of the Buck Hill D-Team to register for the Renegades program
Dates: January 8th – February 26th, 2024
Times: 5:00 – 7:00PM
Fee: $395/$495 (9/1)
Buck Hill Training Group
The Buck Hill Training Group is a three day a week program providing gate training and coaching by USSS staff throughout the winter. The program is a great fit for high school athletes looking for additional days/time on snow throughout the winter season. Training sessions will focus on getting high volume training runs and working on building fundamentals and racing tactics.
Additional Details:
• Three sessions per week Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays (27 sessions total)
• Sessions led by USSS certified staff
• High volume training in gates and free skiing
• Rapid development of skills and fundamentals
• Practices start first week in December
Dates: December 2nd, 2023 – February 12th, 2024 (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays)
Times: Mondays and Wednesdays 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Saturdays 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
*No practice December 23rd, 25th, 27th, 30th, and January 1st
Fee: $1,500
