Buck Hill will be open on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 for an action-packed day of skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, pond skimming, live music, great food, and spring vibes! With the best views from the Buck ‘54 Bar & Grill deck you’ll be rocking out with non-stop action! Get outside yourself and come have some family fun closer to home this Saturday at Buck Hill for the Pond Skim Party!

REGISTRATION*: 100 spots are available for the Buck Hill Pond Skim Party. Online registration is open now and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 14th, 2024. If there are available spots open after online registration closes, participants can register the day of the event from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the SnowSports Center/ Ski School.

*All participants under 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian sign an event waiver.

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Scavenger Hunts (Info available in Ski School, Tickets Office, Main Chalet, and Buck ’54 Bar & Grill)
10:00 AM – 1:30 PM Music Provided by Red Bull
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Registration Check In at SnowSports Center/ Ski School
11:00 AM BBQ Pit Smoker by Pit Boss Ken Speltz
1:30 – 4:30 PM Live DJ Set by DJ Andrew Diff of Aventi DJs
1:45 PM Contestants make way to the Top of Pond Skim Course for Participant Meeting
2:00 PM Pond Skim Contest Starts
2:00 PM – 3:30 Pond Skim Contest
Best Skim, Best Trick, Best Crash, Best Costume
3:45 PM – 4:00 PM – Awards at Base of Pond Skim
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Live Music with Self Titled at Buck Hill Event Center
