What an incredible opening week it has been! The slopes were alive with laughter, excitement, and the unmistakable joy of reconnecting with familiar faces. We genuinely missed having everyone at the resort, and your presence has made this season’s kickoff truly special.
Despite the warmer temperatures, we received a Thanksgiving blessing in the form of colder weather, allowing us to make snow and establish a robust base on the hill. It seems Mother Nature is ready to cooperate, presenting us with temperatures that permit night-time snowmaking starting this Saturday.
As we gear up for the season ahead, we want to make sure your experience with us is nothing short of fantastic. Here are a few friendly reminders and pointers for your next visit:
1. Buy Tickets Online: To streamline your experience that saves you both time and money, we highly recommend purchasing your pass and/or tickets online before heading to the resort. This ensures a smoother entry process and gives you more time to enjoy the slopes. Buy your tickets online now » HERE.
2. Give Yourself Time to Find Parking: Our winter wonderland can get busy, especially during peak hours. We will not have our shuttle bus running this weekend so please plan accordingly and arrive early to secure convenient parking. This way, you can spend more time on the slopes and less time searching for a spot.
3. Wear Proper Attire: Embracing the chilly weather is part of the skiing and snowboarding experience. Dress warmly in layers, don’t forget your helmet, gloves and hats. Being properly dressed enhances both your safety and enjoyment on the slopes.
4. Know the Code: Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a first-time visitor, always prioritize safety and enjoyment on the slopes. Familiarize yourself with key guidelines, such as yielding to others, using equipment responsibly, and adhering to lift safety protocols. For a comprehensive understanding, don’t forget to explore our ‘Know the Code’ page, where you’ll find detailed insights on responsible skiing and snowboard practices. Let’s make every run a memorable and safe adventure together.
5. Enjoy Apres at Buck ’54 or our Chalet: After a thrilling day on the slopes, be sure to complete your day and unwind at Buck ’54 Bar and Grill. Our cozy little bar offers some great food as well as the finest PBR around. If sitting down at Buck ’54 is not your thing-whether you’re with family or in a rush-be sure to visit our Chalet for a quick grab and go. Perhaps indulge yourself in some of the best donuts in the Twin Cities.
Thank you once again for being an essential part of the Buck Hill community. Here’s to a more weekends filled with thrilling runs and memorable moments at Buck ’54 Bar & Grill.
See you on the slopes!
Warm regards,
