Intergalactic Donut Cup World Championships
Panel Slalom | Buck Hill | Monday, January 19, 2026
Blast off into Buck Hill’s Intergalactic Donut Cup World Championships! This high-energy, family-friendly ski race is designed to celebrate young athletes while keeping the focus where it belongs: fun, confidence-building, and a lifelong love of ski racing. For parents of young racers and spectators curious about where ski racing journeys begin, this event offers a front-row seat to something really special.
The Donut Cup has long been a joyful entry point into competitive skiing for USSS U8–U12 athletes. With costumes encouraged, cheers echoing from the base, and donuts waiting at the finish, the atmosphere feels more like a festival than a formal race. Yet behind the fun is a meaningful tradition. Many athletes who once raced the Donut Cup have gone on to compete with and advance through regional and national pipelines with the Buck Hill Ski Racing Team and even represent the U.S. Ski Team. Every big dream starts somewhere, and for many it starts right here on Milk Run at the Intergalactic Donut Cup World Championships!

Spectators are encouraged to join the excitement and watch young racers take on a professionally set Panel Slalom course. The designated spectator viewing area is fully fenced and located directly in front of the main chalet in the Buck Hill Village at the base of the Milk Run trail, providing a clear vantage point to cheer on athletes throughout the day.
