TENGDIN MEMORIAL RACE – 2025
Tengdin Memorial Race at Buck Hill
This weekend, Buck Hill is honored to host one of the most meaningful races on our calendar, the Tengdin Memorial Race.
From a competitive standpoint, this event stands alone as the only 3-run FIS ENL Slalom race in the world, demanding consistency, precision, and depth from every racer in the field. This is a rare and respected format that rewards both speed and resilience for ski racers. But the significance of this race goes far beyond results.
The Tengdin Memorial honors DJ Tengdin and his father, Bob, whose legacy is deeply woven into the history of Buck Hill. This hill was home and where they raced. Their influence spans decades of competition, mentorship, and an unwavering commitment to the racing community and the sport of alpine skiing.
If you’re racing gates, volunteering on the hill, or cheering from the sidelines, this weekend is about honoring that legacy together through sport, community, and shared respect for where we came from.
– Dates: Saturday, January 3rd & Sunday, January 4th
– Times: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We look forward to seeing the racing community come together for a weekend for the Tengdin Memorial Race!
