RING IN 2025 FULL OF SLOPES, FIREWORKS, AND FESTIVITIES

New Year’s Eve is always special, but this year, Buck Hill is taking it to the next level. As the iconic winter destination celebrates its Platinum Jubilee 70-Year Anniversary, the slopes will come alive with festivities to ring in the new year. If you’re a lifelong fan of skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing—or simply someone who loves amazing fireworks—this event is not one to miss.

A NYE Packed with Fun and Excitement

Imagine ending 2024 carving down Buck’s trails in the crisp winter air under the starry sky. At Buck Hill on NYE, you can enjoy late-night skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing until 11:30 p.m., making the most of every last moment of the year. Even beginners can join the fun, thanks to ski and snowboard lessons available throughout the day (SCHEDULE LESSONS HERE).

But the fun doesn’t stop on the slopes. Families can head to the Hutch Building, transformed into a festive wonderland with activities for kids. From bracelet-making to a cozy s’mores and hot cocoa bar, there’s something for everyone. Outside, the fire pit is perfect for warming up while enjoying a cup of cocoa with marshmallows piled high.

Prime Rib Dining Delight, Live Music, and DJ

Dining is another highlight of the night. Buck Hill’s Prime Rib Dinner is a must-try, offering a decadent way to fuel up before the midnight festivities. With limited seating and four dining sessions available by reservation (reservations required – email reservations@buckhill.com), this experience promises an elegant start to the evening. For those who prefer more casual fare, Buck ’54 Bar & Grill offers full service dining, quick grab n’ go items will be available all day in the Buck Hill Event Center, and quick bites available in the Main Chalet.

Prime Rib Dinner (SOLD OUT): For just $45 the Prime Rib Dinner comes with green beans, mashed potatoes plus a house salad or cup of chicken wild rice soup and a glass of champagne to toast!  Reservation Only – To book, email reservations@buckhill.com. Please include your top two preferred time slots so we can accommodate requests if a session is fully booked.

Starting at 5:00 p.m., the celebration truly kicks off with live music at Buck ’54 Bar & Grill. Nick Rod will set the perfect mood with his energetic tunes, while DJ Aventi takes over later in the evening to keep the party going. If you’re dancing indoors or relaxing by the fireplace, the festive atmosphere will sweep you up.

The Grand Finale: Fireworks at Midnight

As the clock strikes midnight, the sky above Buck Hill will erupt in a kaleidoscope of colors. The 70-Year Anniversary Fireworks Show is a free spectacle designed to leave you in awe. Gather with family and friends at the base of Buck Hill Village because this grand display will be the perfect way to welcome 2025.

To ensure a stress-free evening, plan ahead. Parking can get crowded, so carpooling or using Buck Hill’s free shuttle service from offsite parking lot (Map Below) is highly recommended.
