A Day for Jake at Buck Hill

Join us on Saturday, March 16th, as we celebrate the enduring legacy of Jake Burton Carpenter. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to riding, this is a day to honor Jake’s contributions and the spirit he infused into the world of snowboarding.

The event kicks off with check-in at the Burton Tent under the Buck ’54 Bar & Grill Deck from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Participants will then gather at the top of the Lakeside Chair Lift on Warner’s Way Run at 11:45 AM for a special group tribute ride down the slopes at noon, commemorating Jake’s influence. Following the ride, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, attendees are encouraged to enjoy the day, hit the slopes, and have as much fun as possible.

Free to participate. Lift Ticket required.

Jake’s journey from a Vermont barn to the forefront of snowboarding is an inspiring tale of passion, perseverance, and community. His spirit, generosity, and love for the sport continue to resonate with riders worldwide.
