Whether you’re skimming the pond or cheering from the sidelines, this is the ultimate way to celebrate the season.
With pond skimming, skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, live music, great food, and unbeatable deck views from Buck ’54 Bar & Grill, the Pond Skim Party delivers non-stop action and spring vibes all afternoon.

What Is the Buck Hill Pond Skim?
The Pond Skim is a high-energy spring contest where riders attempt to skim across a pond at the base of the hill—without sinking. Speed, style, creativity, and sometimes a spectacular crash all come into play.
